AI agent for service request intake

An AI agent collects the device model, problem description, location and contact details, preparing a request your service team can review.

The customer context

My washing machine shows an error.

“It does not work” is not enough to prepare a service visit. Telp guides a short intake so staff have details to verify.

What remains after the conversation

The AI agent opened service case S-218 and delivered the model, error, location and contact. The service team handles diagnosis and the visit.

Give the service team context before arranging a visit

The AI agent asks which device or service is affected, what the problem looks like and where help is needed. A model, location and contact let the service team prepare for follow-up. Arranging a time uses appointment request intake.

Questions should separate reporting a fault from diagnosing it. A description does not automatically identify a replacement part or repair cost. Requests arriving while the team is away can use after-hours intake.

The customer cannot identify the device

The agent can explain where to find a model label only from approved instructions. Otherwise it records the available description for the service team.

The description raises a sensitive issue

The agent does not improvise work on the device. It follows approved instructions and leaves professional assessment to the service team, without guaranteeing safety or attendance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the agent give technical instructions?

Only from your approved guidance. Unclear or sensitive issues go to the service team.

What information does the service team receive?

A problem description, model or identifier when known, location and contact. Additional details depend on the service and your intake procedure.

Does the AI agent diagnose the fault?

This workflow receives and prepares a request. A description of symptoms is not a reliable diagnosis or confirmation of which part needs replacing.

Can it state the repair price?

It can convey a published price list when applicable. A final price that depends on inspection should not be promised in advance.

Does it automatically dispatch a technician?

Not simply by receiving details. A visit and appointment need confirmation by the team or a separately supported scheduling process.

How does it handle an overnight report?

It can collect information and explain published service availability. This does not imply an on-call team or guaranteed emergency attendance.
