AI agent for quote requests

An AI agent collects quantity, requested options, deadline and contact details before your sales team prepares a quote.

The customer context

We need 80 printed shirts by Friday.

Custom work depends on details that often arrive across multiple messages. Telp asks the agreed questions so staff can start with a more complete request.

What remains after the conversation

The AI agent recorded and delivered enquiry UP-108 with quantities, timing, artwork details and contact information. Sales prepares the quote.

A useful quote starts with a sufficiently precise brief

The AI agent breaks a broad request into quantity, dimensions or options, desired timing and collection arrangements. For printed shirts, a quantity without sizes and artwork is not enough to price the job. Larger business purchases also benefit from B2B enquiry intake.

Agree which questions are essential and which details sales may collect later. The agent prepares a basis for pricing, but does not accept a production deadline for the team. Ready-made items with known terms follow the ordering workflow.

The customer does not have every measurement

Record what is known and make missing details clear. A partial request can support an initial conversation, but may not support a final price.

Delivery is requested at very short notice

The requested date remains a preference until the team checks capacity. Entering a date in the conversation should not turn it into a production or delivery promise.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can Telp price custom work immediately?

Only with reliable pricing rules or a connected calculation. Otherwise it collects details for staff.

What does the agent collect for a quote?

Details that affect pricing: quantity, dimensions or variants, timing and delivery location. The list depends on your service rather than a universal form.

What if the customer only wants an approximate price?

The agent can explain published ranges and pricing factors. Without a reliable basis, it collects details for sales instead of inventing an amount.

Does it approve volume discounts?

Only with approved terms and a supported check. A large quantity alone does not give the agent permission to negotiate a discount.

Can the team complete the brief later?

The transcript shows which details have already been collected. An employee can continue the discussion about missing dimensions, options or terms.

How does the customer know the quote is not accepted yet?

The reply should clearly state that the team is checking the price and timing. Receiving details does not confirm a contract, payment or production start.
